After 6 days of no-impact exercising, (swimming and walking) today I was finally allowed to hop on a bike. Even though the doc hasn’t cleared me for actual road biking, indoor cycling combined with technology has come a long way.
In 5 days the iconic Tour De France begins. The indoor road bike at my gym offers a few virtual Tour legs so today I picked the route with the lowest average grade and went for it. I had a great workout as I followed the pace car and gain a whole new respect for the amazing athletes that cover the 3-week, 2,200 mile French race. #runningfastday6
